Our Story
Nicole and Chandra are sisters, best friends and the faces behind Reverie Threads. They come from a large family of 6 kids and know what it's like to have a beautifully messy life. They are very passionate about promoting goodness and and positivity into the world. They absolutely love fashion for children and are so grateful you are here.
In 2012, Chandra was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 26 as a young wife and mother. She has battled it 4 times in the past 10 years and was on cancer preventative medicine that prevented to carry her future babies. Nicole selflessly offered to surrogate for Chandra and her husband. Chandra was thrilled and so incredibly grateful, but found out how expensive the process will be and that discouraged her. Nicole came up with the idea to start a baby shop to help start a surrogacy fund. So they did!
Two years ago right before they started the surrogacy process, her cancer came back as stage 4 and spread to her brain and bones. She's battled it for the past two years and now it has progressed into Leptomengenial Carcinomotosis, which is terminal and the stats gave her 3-6 months to live. That was two years ago. So many things have been carrying her through including faith, family, friends and most importantly her Heavenly Father. She believes SHE WILL BE HEALED through God's miraculous power. She is very hopeful, full of positivity, light and faith.
